RAKES STEERING CONTROL UNIT 1/2 (BSCU)

— RESET PROCEDURE—

  • Max 150 deg C difference between 2 brakes on same gear.
  • Max 200 deg C difference between brakes on LH and RH rears.
  • Cool down brakes or delay dispatch until cool.

MEL STATUS: NO DISPATCH

All instructions and limitations given in those documents that relate to the resetting of systems both on the ground and in the air must be respected. No reset should be attempted without a thorough appreciation of the technical ramifications. No more than one computer should be reset at any one time. No reset should be attempted in flight unless specifically permitted by the QRH. Maintenance messages remaining after a reset require engineering investigation.
